Taking pride in over 20 years of investigation experience
Company Founder, Anthony Clifford, established the firm in 1996. Since then our offices have grown and in 2008 we acquired our own retail premises for clients to visit, discuss cases and purchase products.
Established in 1998. We are an agency of Private Investigators, PI's. based in the United Kingdom. We work with everyday people who simply have a “NEED TO KNOW”. Our client-agent relationships have always been close and professional. Our in-house investigation experts instinctively know which avenues to take that will best suite the clients end goal. Our UK Private investigators are here to listen to the circumstances, advise courses of action, instigate and direct operations and investigations. With a professional team on hand most types of enquiry can be undertaken.
OUR HISTORY
1996-2001
Offices originally based in Tolworth Surrey, Anthony sets up the agency known as M.R. Investigations with a small selective client base.
2001-2004
The need for space grows and corporate offices acquired in Thames Ditton Surrey. The client base grows mainly assisting, government agencies, corporate clientele, other private Investigators and detectives. During these essential years of growth we realised the need for a data efficiency and the easy reliable access to updated and historical data and invested heavily in high tech soft-wares. These datasets enabled fast reliable access to people location and information sharing technology that gave the BASE detective agency its name in the industry today.
Realising the network of specialists expanding and more services were achievable the BASE Detective Agency found, the new name of the company was born BASE DETECTIVE AGENCY.
2004-2007
With a new face for the company and the client base expanding secondary offices were acquired in Thames Ditton, Surrey. Although this department was strictly allocated to dealing with long term corporate clientele. Our main office continues to offer services to the public and gaining more corporate interest.
2007-2014
With our sharp new image, and a reputation for results, the next step was new premises with retail access seemed the next step. and within a year new retail and offices were found in the affluent area of Surbiton Surrey.
2014-Present
With many of our team spending more time out of the office and on more time out on plot, the decision was made to close the retail shop and move in to the heart of London. Our new offices gave us a base of operations with agents spread across the UK. We now focus our operation on services. With our main areas of expertise remaining in Surveillance, countermeasures and people tracing.
